Default fast idle problem 88 ford e-150

Three years ago I replaced the throttle position sensor on my van to solve an idle problem. Now about 2 months ago the idle started to run very fast. It does not surge or vary in any way just runs fast. I did get a check engine light on yesterday so there is a code stored even though it went out but where is the place to plug into to get the code? Please help if you can!!!!![&o]

Follow up to my problem. After taking it to Auto Zone and getting the codes I still was not able to fix it so I took it to a mechanic. 360 dollars later its running fine. The problem was mostly a bad gasket under the throttle body. They also replaced the tps which I replaced myself about 4 years ago. Also they replaced the temperature sensor which seems to have helped my temperature guage read a little cooler. I cannot say all this was the problem but its fixed and thats what I care about.

That's good news and sounds like the money was well spent. Thank's for the update.
