Ford E350 1994 Front brakes
Hi,
I am new to this forum so if I am not doing things proper please advise. Currently am working on my 1994 E350 Class C motorhome. Have an abs light that always stays on. Had brake lines that all needed to be replaced. Front drivers side brake is making metal to metal noise and overheating the thing. I have taken both front wheels off, taken the hubs and brake pads and rotors off, brakes look good, pads look good. Tone ring not so good, it looks to be rubbing on the bolts that are on the abs plate. The bearings look good, drives well. I am stumped, it is not making sense. I am headed to the brake mechanic for some suggestions but know that you all are very helpful. The other thing I need is the service manual for this vehicle, have searched and searched but cannot find. From another post I picked up the mechanical manual that traces all wiring, very very helpful, thanks to whoever posted that information. Any help would be appreciated.

You didn't say whether the noise is present all the time or just when you apply the brakes. Sometimes bearings can appear OK and not be good. There is a good possibility the ABS sensor itself is faulty and most likely should be replaced. The tone ring should not contact the sensor.
