I read somewhere to make sure that I put the drive shaft back on in the same place that you took it off. Well, the old one is toast, so is there a way to determine how to hook it up to the drive shaft? I am guessing no, but just checking to be sure. Thanks.

 

There is a procedure called phasing that needs to be considered when replacing a drive shaft that might have been separated.
