Looking for some mudflaps
Hi. I'm looking for mudflaps for a 1998 E250 (4700 miles). I'm hoping to find some fitted, preferably no-drill, mudflaps for my latest project. Can anyone help me out? I'm trying to keep it free of stone chips and such.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Hi Dink,
With only that many miles what does it look like underneath ?
If there is very little rust, then a serious consideration for spray undercoating would do a lot to preserve what you have.
They used to undercoat all new vehicles with a process called Ziebart..
Because a lot of new vehicles are supposed to have rust resistant rocker panels etc., it is not as popular as it once was., but it can make a world of difference if done before a lot of rust takes over.
Worth looking into.
You can also undercoat it yourself with spray cans of undercoating. If you can get to a good auto supply store, inquire about the undercoating and flaps while there.
The folks in the store have a pretty good idea of what you want and what is available.
