My 2013 E150 will not start after heavy rain.
Hey there! I have a 2013 Ford E150 and the engine will not come on after it has rained. We have checked Fuses/Battery/Fuel and they're all good, the starter is working when I turn the key. Any idea what could be the problem?
I forgot to mention that my Van is a 4.6L.
I also posted this same topic on Reddit, and I managed to put a video/example there. https://www.reddit.com/r/carproblems...heavy_raining/

And another update, I pulled off the PCM and ECM cables, the connectors had water in them, the middle one having the most, water dripped out.

You are on the right path. Just make sure the plugs are clean and dry.
You might check the weather stripping where the hood contacts it when the hood is closed. If it does not make good contact to make an effective seal, the water will get in and cause problems among which is corrosion and possible alternate paths for power to take.

I took out the ECM and connectors to try and let it dry, no fire. So far I've had no luck so I might have to get it to a mechanic.
