Hi y'all...first off: thanks for the know-how provided this far.

I just purchased my first ever full-sized van...a 2004 E150 cargo, 4.6L...16XK miles.

This thing is damned near perfect except a faulty IAC...which brings me to my humble plea...

Where in the !&@%$*$( is the thing and how do I get to it?

Beers and brunettes to you all, and thanks for any advice.

Welcome to the site

IAC is behind the throttle body/rear of the intake area ..
Youll need to remove the air cleaner housing/assy.
If you need the illustrations, let me know..

Default Gotchya...

That's easy enough...is it still easily accessible from the hood, without pulling the doghouse? Total noob at van dynamics here, so please forgive the dumb ?s...I've always been a pickup guy with plenty of room to poke around.

Thanks, BTW.

Once the air/assy is outta the way, you can work around to the back..
