First off, hello everyone! Figured I’d join the forum since I’m an owner of a 97 econoline and with it being so old I’ll have issues here and there.

The current issue is a no crank no start after it’s driven a couple miles and it has to cool down before it cranks again.

I can start it when hot by running a jumper cable from the starter to the positive battery terminal.

I replaced the starter and the starter solenoid but the problem still persists and I’m not sure what it could be.

Any info would be great. Thank you so much!
