How did you get fuel pressure reading ?

I plugged a pressure gage on the bleeder stem

Default Problem solved

After all the work I did I dint erase the code so the problem persisted the mechanic give me that little tip and walla she runs and drives grate.
So remember to erase the codes after each part you replace.

That step was never posted because , I have to say most, folks doing any diagnostic work know this and it was a mistake on my part thinking you already knew this.

I'm curious... what is the procedure you're talking about? Can you just give us a "short version" so I'll know what it is? My '97 E150 5.4 is running rough and I'm going to be doing some diagnostic work in a few weeks.

If you replace a part that was found to be defective or the cause of a problem, the vehicle computer doesn't know the part was replaced and will hold the code until that particular monitor is run again and passes after which it will automatically erase the code or depending on the vehicle year can be erased.
