Stalling while driving down the road
I saw somebody was talking about their vehicle stalling out. My van was doing that and it turned out to be a sensor. There was a recall on the sensor, but I paid to have it fixed before the recall happened. I don’t know the name of the sensor but is, about 3 inches long. But the van would stall out when I’m driving down the road then when the sensor would cool off, the van would start again. I had it at a Ford dealers twice and finally I took it to just somebody that knows cars.
Had a few crank sensors do that.
The way you can prove that is the culprit is to throw some cold water on it and it will start up like nothing is wrong.
You could be driving down the road and the engine would just shut off. Loses crank signal, sensor opens when it gets hot.
