Is it possible for a fuel pump to become air locked? I hooked a rubber hose to the inlet on this pump, dropped the other end in a gas can and the van started. I hooked the original gas line back up and it now starts and runs. I let it run until it was warm, shut it off and it started again. Started and ran several times. Will take it out and drive it tomorrow.
Acted like it was vapor locked. Last vehicle I had that would do that was back in the 60s.
