Default tranny servicing

i have a 96 E350 class C motorhome. my question is...when i drain the trann to change the filter, how do i drain the torque converter and refill it? the rig has 90k miles and i dont know the whole service history or if the tranny filter has ever been changed. does anyone recommend that i disconect the tranny cooler line and flush the system; if so, which line do i disconect and how do i flush it correctly? i appriciate any help anyone has to offer. thanks in advance!

Remove the rubber plug in the trans lower bell housing and rotate the torque converter one full turn , there should be a drain plug on it to drain the converter. It holds quite a bit of trans fluid be prepared to collect it. I believe the refill amount after draining the trans and converter is something like 14-16 qts ATF.
