Just got this vehicle and transmission does not seem to shift properly seems kinda jumpy also.

 

It is a new type transmission compared the the ones you were accustomed to. It will take a while for you to get accustomed to the way it works and also for it to adapt to your type driving. Might b a good idea to confirm that explanation with your dealership where you purchased it.

 

Same issues here. We bought ours in May. Our vehicle has been at the dealership more than it has been in our possession. Ford just authorized a transmission replacement. BTW, we only have about 1,500 miles on the vehicle.

We're grateful for the warranty and loaner but peeved that the new transmission design appears to be flawed.

 

Is this a new transmission design change in the 2019? I thought I had read it has been the same since 2015 but could be confused.

 

is this a recall or are they just replacing yours?
