Issues starting after getting gas

I changed the vent valve out, relatively easy, just had to get up underneath and it twisted right out and the new one twisted in. The part was Dorman 911-216.

However, it did not fix the issue. I ended up taking off the newly replaced purge valve, blew compressed air through it, and cleaned the connections as best as I could. I reattached it and so far I haven’t had any issues.

I can only think the new purge valve didn’t have an airtight connection which was why I couldn’t get it fixed when I replaced it.

Update: it’s been running fine and we’ve had zero issues. Thank you all for the advice.
