Default Missing from a stop

My wife's Edge just developed a miss when initially pressing the accelerator from a stop. Once it starts to roll it is fine and the miss is gone. Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this? It isn't throwing any warning lights on her dash. Her vehicle has about 65,000 miles on it.

My early thoughts are ...
1. Bad Gasoline
2. Spark plug going bad.
3. Dirty fuel filter (Heard this is in the gas tank..)
4. Fuel pump going bad.

Any suggestions appreciated.

edit: The Edge is a 2008 SEL

Seems you have it pretty well covered & in the right order.
It should have a filter outside the tank also.
A coil breaking down under load can give the same symptoms.
