I have just traded my Ford Escape 2008 for a new 2013 Edge 3-21-2013 , The only issue that i seen was when I took it for a test trip from Ft. Worth to Weatherford , the NAV system seem to got lost for about 2 miles at the Weatherford exit .

The other place was downtown Ft Worth , the display was so full of information --- it was unusable

I was comparing the Nav against my Magellan unit which had no issues at all !

The other thing i have been watching is the MPG at present I am getting 13 MPG !

But so far i like the Edge !

 

Really like it and get good gas milage. Usually around 20 around town and 24 on trips. I havew the V6 which is really powerful. The only real concern I have is road noise. On certain roads I have to have the radio up to 8 to overcome the road noise. I have replaced all of the tires with the best Michelum tires and the noise is still about the same. It is especially noisy on tar and chip roads or roads that have had tar inserted in cracks in the road. It is pretty quiet on cement roads. One thing I really need help on that might sound silly. I can not find the method to make my own post about the noise. HELP. Jim

 

I have a 2013 edge sel 3500 miles for about 7 months. And the road noise is absolutely awful. I guess I should take it to the dealer and complain, but I usually just get blowed off on problems of this nature. I always thought these edges were suppose to be the queens of the road but not for noise. And I love the power the v6 has

I bought a new Ford Edge 2013 in January 2014. I have 1500 miles on the car. I have noticed that each time I start, it is harder to start. This morning at McDonalds, I could not start the car. A towing service tried to "jump start" the car with no success. Headlights, interior lights, radio, computer, windows, etc all work. Can anyone give an input? Thank you.
