I have an intermittent problem with my 2002 Ford Escape where even with all doors shut, the door ajar light stays lite. When this happens it will not allow me to shut or open windows....I don't understand this!!! I've been searching and searching for a fix and came across splicing two wires near the actuator to trick the computer so it sees that the doors are "closed", so it will work... problem is the wires they say, I have different colors then what they are showing. Any ideas what color wires for a 2002? This is for the Driver Door. And yes, I've tried the WD40 fix...didn't work.
