Default 2005 Ford Escape

My mother has a 2005 Ford Escape and it had some rust issues near the rear wheel/shock. Everything has been fixed but now the tire rubs the shock. Can someone point me in the right direction for some spacers, probably only need 1/2 inch, or let me know if this should even be done. Would like something to just pop on and not deal with longer lug studs etc... I am not the most handy with cars so hopefully someone can help.

Normally,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,you should not have that problem
There has to be more than what info is given. Something must have been changed from the original, and maybe you can clue us in on what.
