Not knowing what kind of equip and facilities you have to work with, if the tank is just about empty ,it won't be too heavy.
If it has fuel in it , anything you can do to make it lighter will also make the job easier.
Something you should keep in mind, contact with today's gasoline is not good to get on your skin. so protect your hands.
Also don't use any kind of electrical lighting to see what you are doing , BECAUSE,,,,,,,,, if gasoline comes in contact with a hot droplight bulb, JUST NOT GOOD !
If the driveshaft appears to be in the way to drop the tank, just mark the position where it is presently bolted so it goes back to the same position to prevent possible vibration problems and disconnect one end and just position it out of the way. Be aware you will need the special tool to disconnect the fuel lines and filter.
Procede slowly and be safe so you can enjoy the fruits of your labor.
