2010 Escape Hybrid - Where is the shifter cable transmission attachment?
First-time poster here!
2010 Ford Escape Hybrid. Automatic.
I'm fairly sure I've got a failed bushing in the shifter cable linkage to the transmission on my 2010 Escape Hybrid. Lots of youtube and tiktok videos that show and describe the issue, but none of them demonstrate where the linkage is in the engine compartment for my specific car, and my specific engine layout doesn't look anything similar to some of the examples. I found videos for a '13 escape gas, several mid-teens F150s, and a 2008 Focus, but I can't find a video (or even an online version of a Chilton manual!) for my model specific. Can someone describe where the linkage (or throw me a picture?!) is so I can start taking some things apart? Massively appreciated, thank you!
