Default 2015 Escape dreaded DTC P0236

Noticed our 2015 Escape started stumbling on acceleration. It's just like someone punching it in the gut, knocking the wind out of it.
Hooked up FORScan and got the following DTC: P0236 Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance.
I cleared the code in FORScan and it ran fine till I started it again. Code and problem came back.
I changed the Turbo Boost solenoid on the top of the motor, cleared the DTC again and it ran fine. The next day it was back.
Replaced the Turbo Wastegate solenoid, no effect. Now, I can use FORScan and clear the DTC and it runs fine again but only for about a day.
So at this point I'm going to try and change the Turbo Boost sensor and see if that helps.
If anyone has any thoughts please share them.

Have you upgraded or done any modification or anything thus far? Any BOV or upgraded DV? While accelerating hard, or going uphill, can you hear any sound you never heard of before?
Try to clean both MAP and MAF sensors, the sensing element, using CRC MAF cleaner, and the electrical connectors using contact cleaner, use wire brush if needed. Then test drive and see.
Check for vacuum leak and boost leak, check all the piping, especially on the charge pipe, then inlet and outlet and all that.
Don't just throw parts at it or it's better off to just buy a new turbo or an upgraded one. Most importantly, you need to find out the root cause if possible.
