Exclamation 2023 Escape Hybrid ST Line Elite

I purchased a brand new 2023 Ford Escape Hybrid ST Line Elite. The audio system just quit working about 3 weeks ago. I took it to Ford and the ordered a new ACM module. The next day, the car would not start. Ford dealer came out and jumped it so that we could get it to the shop. The tech said the module was draining the battery over night. The part to fix this issue is on back order with no estimated delivery time. Could be at the dealers shop for months.
Is there anyone else out there having this issue? Maybe I got a lemon, but it is very depressing to have paid $45,000 for a car you can't drive.

My record was with a brand new Pontiac Montana SV6 and right out of the lot discovered my instrument cluster was malfunctioning, like you just have to chalk it up to made on a Monday or being unlucky. i can relate to you in that it is disappointing, lets get this dealt with and hopefully you are problem free from here on out.

I've had nothing but good luck with my Fords mechanically, from my 1964 Ford Falcon to my 2011 Escape Ford has been one of the most reliable vehicles over time.

We have the same vehicle. It now has about 3K miles with no issues. Can they disconnect the unit so you can at least drive it?

Dealer did not offer that option. Gave me a loaner to drive. Still no ETD on the part.

The exact same thing happened to me. However, after I jumped it myself, everything worked normally, including the audio system. Another time, the navigation system stopped working for a few days, and then the battery was dead. Once again, everything worked normally after a jump. Another time I got numerous error messages pop up every time I tried to start the car. At that time, I just had to wait an hour before the codes reset themselves and I could start the car and go. I think there are a few highly intermittent software problems that still need to be worked out by Ford.
