Default Door Lock and Unlock issue

Hello everyone. I have a 2005 Ford Escape V6. I have an issue were the door dont look or unlock with the fob or the lock switch on the doors. I have to manually lock and unlock every door. Also, gas cover door stays locked so i have to force it to open it. Can it be that all the door actuators are bad? All together even the gas door actuator? Or can it be something else? Any help is appreciated. I dont want to just throw money at it

You know what that I havent done but I didnt think of checking because if i hit the lock or unlock either on fob or the door i do hear the mechanism but none of the doors actually lock or unlock. So i figured fuses couldnt be bad since i hear them but I will go check the fuses today just to rule that out.

Just a thought, if you can hear the mechanisms attempting to operate and the problem is the same with all doors, there is a good possibility of a poor ground supplying the sheet metal of the vehicle. A good place to start would be with the ground connections coming from the negative post of the battery to the sheet metal.
Thee may be other problems too if that is the cause .
