Failing horn relay?

Here is the wiring diagram you can use. Its a very basic system. Switch controls relay, relay controls horns.

Now that you have the diagram, you might just take each part that could provide a ground to the relay and remove them from the circuit one at a time and you may get your answer.

hmm, I am not sure how basic that is, to me, but thanks. 😀

Quite sure it was the horn. The few times the sound became very loud it was like you were punching the horn firmly.

I replaced the fuse the morning after this happened and in the intervening three days the sound has not reoccured. Dunno. Have driven it twice, everything fine.

Fate works in mysterious ways, but NORMALLY,,,if no power is going to the horn, it should not do anything.
Soooo, since we did not come up with a good explanation of what was causing the noise , if it was the horn, ,,,,me thoughts be that it will come back for a return visit.
