Default Please help !

Hello, I have a 2010 escape 3 liter.

I am trying to replace the rear sway bar links, and the old ones on both side will not come off!The top one I can get off because you can hold the nut on the other side! The bottom ones, just keep turning and there is not way to hold the bolt on the bottom to get the nut off! The bottom are cover by a piece of plastic and it will not come off time the link is removed as it is behind the link? Have tried for hours, no luck, Will they have to be cut off by a shop?
