Recall Issues - Done Incorrectly
Hi all!
I have a 2013 Escape Titanium. I bought it used at 42,000 miles. I have had numerous issues to date with this car and from looking at the history of service visits with the last owner, she did too.
After I purchased this vehicle, I had to have it in and out of the shop due to performance issues and fault errors. I found out that a Ford dealership incorrectly completed the wire splice recall and put the wrong wires together. Over 25,000 miles were put on the car after that recall was done incorrectly.
Im now having transmission issues out the wazoo. I’m on month 3 of the garage not being able to solve my jerky, vibrating, hard shifting transmission. I opened up a case with ford corporate last week.
Is anyone else having these issues? What can I do to right the recall issue. I am so over this car and have been since the day I bought it.
