Default Shifter issue

I have a 2005 Ford escape 3.0. For a while it was fine, but now I can't get out of park issues with the shift interlock. If I use my key I can get out of park via the bypass on the shifter. I have replaced the brake light switch twice and I have replaced the entire shift assembly (used). All fuses are good. Does it have a relay somewhere? I saw some relays behind the center fuse panel. Do any on those control the shift interlock?

Welcome to the site

The shift lock signal comes through the Smart Junction Box logic board.
During a no shift event, is the power distribution missing on the red (red only) wire on the shifter assy?
