Default Some questions.

1. Shaking while shifting gears: I've had my 2001 Ford Escape for just over a year now. Shortly after I bought it it started doing this thing where when it's shifting into 2-3 or 3-4 gear it shakes. It's not back to back its either one or the other the rpms are usually at 2500-3000 but it shakes and it seems to be a hard shake. I'm aware I'm probably losing the transmission. But does anyone know what else it could be other then that??

2. Leather Seats: now my second question is; I have leather seats. Every seat cover I've tried putting on them. Slides right off never stays on the seat. And what's more annoying is theyre bucket seats and well its still annoying I can't find a seat cover that works. Any suggestions??

I'm sorry , I don't know the answers to both of your questions, but the second problem reminded me of a similar situation where the owner did a nice job on his leather car seats with lemon Pledge and he darn near slid under the dash when starting off.
Have you applied any type protector to the leather?

I have never done any conditioning to the seats. I just wanted to put seat covers on my seats because of having young kids who are semi messy. But everything slides off the seats because their leather I can't find anything to fit them correctly. The covers are either really big or just slide everywhere.
