Default Threaded insert on 2.5L ignition coil

Was changing plugs on our 2012 escape 2.5L when I ran into a spinning bolt on the last ignition coil. Removed it with a bolt extractor, but in the process pulled the gold threaded insert out with it.

Can that just be pressed back into the hole? Looks like there was a tiny ring that might have broken off and went into the hole. Can’t tell for sure. I am wondering if I lightly hammer the insert back in will it hold the coil down good with a new bolt?
