Default Dying out of Ignition coil

I got my 2004 Ford Freester with two ends of the ignition coil not working. I replaced the ignition coil and everything worked fine. I set it on drive for about 30km and the ignition coil got blown out again. Please what could be the matter that causes the coil to be dying out? I don't think it's a mere coincidence. Noticable electrical issues I found in the cluster include:
1. Odometer not displayed
2. Battery indicator remains lighted even when engine runs but alternator still works

You had to know the next question would be ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,where are you getting the replacements ?

A poor ground in the electrical system can do this.
