HI, quick question for all of you. I have a 2014 escape titanium. I brought it into my local dealer while it was under and extended warranty for white smoke coming out of the exhaust on start up. They kept it 4 days found nothing. Today 6 months later I take it to my local dealer for a trie rotation and oil change and a smell of exhaust in the cabin, he tells me the turbo is going bad. Now I would have thought that my dealer would have picked this up when it was under warranty. I called them and they said if it didn't throw a code and we couldn't reproduce that smoke problem then there was nothing they could have done. He asked me to bring it in to verify the turbo issue and see what if anything ford is going to do. Any advice. ?
