Default 1998 escort se compression

Hey guys
I picked up this escort last week.
And need to know what the compression should be.
And how much compression it needs to fire and run.
Engine is a 2.0 spi and current compression is 142 across all cylinders.
that is cold engine with throttle closed.
Thanks for any input on this thread.

Well just as I thought 122 views and zero reply.
Does anybody even use this forum?
Anyway got my answer for the compression.
Thanks for the ones who took time to view the thread anyway.

Cyber: the info you are looking for you can get in a Haynes manual or CHILTON. The good news you have is that all cylinders are even.
