Default 1998 Ford Escort Zx2 Dash cluster not working

I am at a loss here. I have a 1998 Zx2. last week all my gauges stopped working, except my Speedometer. I have quickly checked all of my electrical connection and even bought a cluster at the local junkyard. Is there a BCM on the vehicle that controls the cluster. I have checked all of the fuses. and gave the wiring a quick once over. If anyone out there has dealt with this before, any help would be greatly appreciated

The circuit that is controlled by the float is dysfunctional probably because the contacts on the fuel pump assembly are worn out.You will need to pull the fuel pump assembly and replace the fuel sending unit or the whole fuel pump assembly with sending unit.

I have replaced the fuel pump and still nothing. The temp, Fuel and Tach are still not functioning. the new fuel pump came with an extra pigtail, I did not replace it.

Hello Mike,
There should be a BCM in your vehicle that probably controls the panel. What you can try is to go to a place like Autozone and have the computer read for any codes. The codes for the BCM will read, BXXXX. Once you get the code(s) we will have a direction where to go next.
