Default 92 escort

I have an intermitten problem with the car acting like it is not getting enough fuel. The weird thing is it starts up okay sometimes. I know when it is not going to cause I can hear the fan motor from the radiator running as soon as I turn the key on. But when the fan does not come on when it is totally cold starting it starts up and acts and runs like it is ok. But as soon as I turn it off and try again the fan motor comes on and we are back to square one.

Hmm, I don’t think the fan circuit is connected to the fuel circuit. Let me check the fuel-wiring diagram for an 92 Escort, and I’ll try to get back to you. However, it sounds more like a warm fuel pump problem to me.

I have heard of a defective coolant sensor causing this problem and also a faulty ECM.
Before replacing either of them would be a good idea to check them out first.
