When I turned on my headlights my dash lights were off, I adjusted the dimmer both ways. still no dash lights. They were working fine that morning.
When I got to where I could check the fuses. I pulled and put back all of the fuses, I found a couple that would push in, and only 1 fuse under the dash was blown, the one marked "cigar" which I have replaced. I also checked all the fuses under the hood. There aren't that many on this car. and Yet I still have no dash lights and more importantly no tail lights. I do have stop and turn lights.

Any ideas as to where to look next ?

 

There is a parking lamp/dash lamp relay that may not be getting energized either because a fuse is bad or the relay is defective.The relay appears to be part of an enclosed assy under the driver's side of the dash.
