where should it go?
Hi...i have just bought a 1980 1.3 GL escort..french.. the narrow vacuum pipe is missing which comes off the inlet manifold...it has 3cm of cloth pipe then is cut off...i'm guessing this should join one or other or even both of the two inlets on the underside of the air filter. I saw in a video someone had a t section coming from it with two pipes coming off...one going to the air filter the other going to quote 'other bits and bobs' can somebody determine for me what pipes i should have there and exactly where they go to? it hisses air when running and when you put your finger over it the engine seems to run much smoother.
