Default replacing the oil pan in a '99 Escort ZX2

Kid drove over a hunk of metal in the road, ripped a hole in the oil pan. To replace it, what is needed besides a new OEM oil pan? Gasket? Or do i just use silicone? thoughts? It's the regular 2.0 4 cyl engine.

you'll need a new oil pan and gasket if you need to use the sealer then do it as well it all depends on what kind of gasket you use if made of rubber then no sealer if cork gasket is used then apply thin bead sealer on both block and pan just make sure that it seals and doesn't leak
