I been noticing on my truck that it been smelling like its overheating, so i thought maybe it was being caused by the A/C, so i turned it off and drove without A/C. It still smells like overheating.
So, i wanted to check the radiator to see if it has water and coolent, but i saw the expedition has 3 radiators???? I didn't even know how to open it up to check.
Can someone out there tell me how to open up the radiators to see if they have water and coolent. I didnt see a **** on top of the radiator like all other usually have them on top.

CAN'T ANSWER THAT PART SHOULD HAVE AN OVERFLOW TANK TO CHECK COOLANT LEVEL BUT IF U R SMELLING COOLANT ODER INSIDE VEHICLE ITS PROBALBY THE HEATER CORE

 

YES, I NOTICED IT TODAY WHEN I TURN ON THE A/C THIS WHITE SMOKE OR FOG COMES OUT, AND THEN IT DISAPPEARS BUT I CAN SMELL SOMETHING FUNNY AND IT GIVES ME A HEADACHE AFTER A WHILE. THE WHITE SMOKE COMES AND GOES, WHAT IS THE PROBLEM AND HOW MUCH OR HOW CAN I FIX IT?

 

YEP THAT IS THE HEATER CORE THE CORE ITSELF ISN'T TO EXPENSIVE YOU CAN GET THAT AT YOUR LOCAL PARTS STORE I HAVENT BEEN INTO AN EXPEDITION SO I CAN'T TELL WHAT ALLIS INVOLVED ON MOST VEHICLES IT CAN BE REMOVED BY PULLING THE COVER OFF ON PASENGER SID UN DASH I WOULD ADVISE GETTING A CHILTONS MANUAL AT THE TIME I GOT HEATER CORE
