Default Its possible to damage Vulcan V6 by overheating?

I know some engines have parts made from material similar to aluminum and are easy to damage by overheating engine.
When others are made from cast iron or iron that don't crack when overheated.
How about SFI Vulcan V6 or DOHC Duratec 30 V6?

You can damage any engine from overheating it. The 3.0 Vulcan and Duratec are no exceptions to this. With the Duratec consisting of an aluminum block and aluminum heads, it's a little more forgiving due to aluminums ability to dissapate heat better, while the Vulcan consisting of a iron block and iron head will dissapate heat at a slower rate.
