I have seen several post about the '99 Expediton having rear heat and no front heat. I just bought a '99 EB and am having this problem. I have seen suggestions about the "blend" door. Has anyone fixed this themselves and how involved is it and is there an easier fix for this or would I be better off getting a mechanic to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

Unless your mechanically inclined and have some specialist tools, you might want to have a tech fix this one for you. You have to remove part of the lower air distribution system under the dash to access the blend door actuator. I have been doing this job for 35 years and if you don't have the tools, it's almost impossible.
