Angry 1999 Expedition XLT, 5.4 PATS Transceiver - Need Help!

Hey all,
Need some advice. My Expedition was broken into and the would-be thief stuck a screwdriver in the ignition, destroying the cylinder and breaking the PATS transceiver halo. Well, it no longer reads my key. I cannot find a new replacement anywhere. Even the dealership says it has been discontinued.
I am dumbfounded. I bought a used unit off ebay with the paired lock-cylinder and key. I plugged it in and am now getting the theft light flashing, code p1260, cranks but will not start.
Any ideas on where I can get a Newinbox transceiver or make my ebay purchase work?
xl3t-15607-ad is the ford part number.
Any help is appreciated!!!

I believe your best bet would be to consider a dealership or Certified Locksmith to reprogram your vehicle's computer. It will need to be rerprogrammed to your particular vehicle or it will never be allowed to start. Anytime we switch/change any PATS parts , programming is usually required.
Sometimes you can bring your vehicle registration, new keys and PCM and they might be able to reinstall as built info and allow it to start. Check first. Otherwise you will either need to have the vehicle towed or have a road service call. Locksmiths are usually less costly.
