2007 Ford Expedition Right Turn signal issue
For the last couple of weeks when I turn my truck on and the dash lights come on (engine, tire pressure, etc) the right turn signal would come on. I get in the truck today, and it does the same thing, but the right turn signal will only turn off if I put the switch in the left position, at which point the left turn signal DOES NOT work. If it goes into the neutral position, it will stop for a minute, then start blinking right again. The flashers work, but I can't get the right to turn off.
Any suggestions before I take it to the mechanic?

On a lot of newer vehicles the request doesn't go from the switch to the object.
The request goes to a module then on to the object. The signal and path need to be verified and many times a scan tool is required to accomplish the checks.

UPDATE: The car died after more lights came on on the dash, the wrench came on, and we were limping it to the mechanic... Currently the alternator is the issue, and we'll see if it fixes the turn signal issue.
