I'm confused. The ford dealer says my shocks are leaking ever so slightly. When I look at it I think it a shock struct. Which is it. The dealer says they are not covered by warranty, but ford warranty says it will cover shock struts.

 

The ford expedition shocks are **** and leak enough that ford put out guidelines that they have to be leaking a certain amount before we can warranty them.
I think the changed suppliers for the 2020s cause I haven't seen as many leaking recently.
Shocks are covered in the bumper to bumper 3 year/36000 miles warranty, after that they are covered only if you have ESP and you pay the deductible.
