2021 Expedition seat
Just purchased a 2021 Expedition a little over a month ago. Within the first week of having the vehicle, I noticed that there was a small hole in one of the rear seats. I quickly called FORD and expressed my concern. I noticed that the stitching must have came apart. Long story short, FORD said that it looked as if it was "pulled and tugged on". Warranty doesnt want to cover. There is literally no wear and tear to the seat as it is a BRAND NEW car. Now I have to oay to get it reupholstered??? 70K car with a hole in the back seat ? Great customer service FORD. the darn seat doesnt even show a butt print on it smh. Isnt this covered by 3/36? There is no damage to the seat. Theres absolutely no wear and tear. How can WARRANTY say that it "looked like it was pulled and tugged on"?
I went to service. Sent me to the manager. Spoke to him. Told me that theres nothing I can do. Once the warranty says no its NO. I even called FORD customer service.. They told me nothing can be done. Its just so crazy that I cant get that replaced on a 70K+ car. Should have just gotten a Benz
Post on facebook/social media and call out the dealer and Ford corperate about it. You probably just didn't get the right person on the totem pole at Ford, ask for the supervisors supervisor if you call corporate again, or complain to the dealer enough that you are returning the vehicle.
