Many times when a code says there is a problem with a sensor does not always mean the sensor is defective. There could be a problem with the wiring or the tone ring that works together with the sensor. Also there have been instances where the light comes on and the code says the R/F sensor for example, when the problem was with the L/F sensor sending wrong info to the ABS unit and the computer thinks the right side sensor is defective.

I have a 2003 Expedition with 110,00 miles. I just had problems with my ABS light coming on due to my wheel bearings going bad. Changed the bwheel bearings and all is well.
