I cleared my codes 650 miles ago and im still waiting for the evaporative system monitor to finish checking itself. I cant pass smog because the computer still shows P1000, and my reader shows the evaporative is the only thing left. Ive filled up the gas tank twice since then but how many miles will it take. Ive already driven 650 miles. Only code I ever had was the low idle code, which has been fixed last month, but time is running out for me to get smogged. Is there a trick to speed up this process. Ive tried to get even drive time, on freeways and regular streets but since I have a work truck its hard to put miles on it during the week.

Success, I waited over night and took it out today, did exactly what the directions told me to do ( found online ) and it worked, no codes and passed the checks. Now hopefully I dont get any codes before getting it smogged tomorrow.
