Can anyone tell me what this is

 

If,,,,,,they are all vacuum hoses attached to it it could just be a multiple connection tap, with a vacuum check valve in the one line that possibly goes to either a vacuum reservoir or the inside of the vehicle to provide vacuum for heater controls etc.
Sure would be nice if you could tell us where this part happens to be on the vehicle , safe to assume the engine compartment?
