Ok, so, long story short... It was pouring, steering wheel was locked and, like an idiot, I turned my key off and on rapidly trying to start my 06 Expedition Eddie Bauer. Now the security system won't let me start it. Red light on dash blinks rapidly and it won't crank. The pastor of our local Baptist Church blessed me with this truck over a year ago and the only key I have for it is the spare. I lost my fob about 4 months ago. I just started a new job and have no money for professional help.
PLEASE TELL ME I CAN FIX IT WITH ONLY THE SPARE KEY!!!

 

I cannot guarantee this will work, but is worth a try.

If the only key you have was a working key, remove the negative battery cable from the battery post, and just touch the end of the disconnected battery cable to the positive post and then put it back to where you removed it. Now go try to start the vehicle, it may start and if it does not you can either call a capable locksmith or a dealership service dept.for road service.
