most repair shops charge an arm and a leg along with half of the third leg. but you're over seas and I don't see your wife tracing wires and unfortunately that's the price of free enterprise. you'd think something like that would be under the warrenty but we all know how the car companies are.

 

It is due to security system breaking down and system is confusing while understanding the codes. Now you need the programming from the dealer which sounds like a good idea to avoid any frustration.
