after riding about 45 minutes the temp guage goes to full hot then I stop for about 10 minutes and its is fine. not seeing anything boil out but seems hot

had the coolant and heatercore flushed out over the winter so there is all new coolant any ideas where to start if it is so intermitten

 

change the temp sensor on the front of the engine, it is probibly sending the wrong readings to the meter.
