1999 explorer oil gauge

Default 1999 explorer oil gauge
I have a 1999 ford explorer that the oil gauge died and i replaced the sending unit it went back to working then it jumped the lower peg i pulled it back over the peg and it went back to working then it started bouncing when the vehicle stops not all the time just once in awhile so i replaced the sending unit again and it did it again any ideas
